This will give us a chance to play the tournament course before the main event on the following Monday. Friday, March 2 11:00 am Friday Fun Round at Feather Sound Country Club. A very good test of golf, the dedicated golfer will appreciate the challenges that are offered in the well-guarded, elevated greens at Feather Sound, a private club. And by allowing the average player to swing away off the tee and offering plenty of options to every player, it’s a course that can challenge and be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Broad, generous fairways that invite you to hit away; glistening water features that add some sparkle to your round; and, of course, abundant sunshine. Meet and greet other golfers and friends, review the rules and pairings for the MondayTournament. Light Buffet with Pasta Bar, Carving Station and full cash bar and a silent auction just for fun! Monday, March 5 The Twelfth Annual Florida Lithuanian Open Golf Tournament at St. Petersburg Country Club in St. Petersburg, Florida Tournament Schedule: 11:45am Registration opens 12:00pm to 12:55pm Check-in, Practice, Putting Contest (new) 1:00pm Shotgun Start for all Golfers 5:30pm (approx) Buffet, Full Cash Bar, Awards Ceremony in Clubhouse Ballroom (Non-golfing guests welcome. See costs on Registration form.) The Competition: Each player will play their own ball as an individual in one of four divisions: Ladies’ Division, Men’s Division (age 55 or under) Senior Men’s Division (age 56-71) and Super Senior Men’s Division (over age 71) Depending on the number of players, there will be at least two flights in each division according to declared handicap (or average score). USGA Handicaps rules will apply. There will also be prizes awarded for several contest holes, including Closest to the Pin (Ladies’ and All Men) and others. A minimum of 18 prizes will be awarded. Optional Competition! Putting Contest – Golfers will get three chances to make this tough putt for a prize award. Registration: Fee includes: Greens Fee, Cart Rental, Beverage Tickets, Goodybag, Eligibility for prizes, Buffet in the Clubhouse after the tournament during the Awards Ceremony.
